Cambridge Audio CXC CD Transport with significant Upgrades

A very good transport on its class, upgraded to a top contender: changed all the electrolytic capacitors - poor quality Fujicon and Jamicon put in the PSU and Servo by Cambridge Audio - replaced with Epcos and Panasonic FR. New capacitors of the same value are twice or three times bigger than the poor Jamicon&Fujicon. Changed the Chinese safety cap to Kemet MKP. Changed the two glass fuses with high quality ceramic Schurter SPT - one in servo, one in PSU. New SPDIF DH Labs copper RCA connected to the mainboard with Duelund wires. and many attention to vibrations, using high quality dampening materials. also attention to digital signal wires. The original CA CXC had a big soundstage, a clear sound, but it was too aggressive, with not so natural timbres in instruments. The rhythm also suffered, it was too technical, not real and emotional.
